EXPORT FREIGHTS

RENEWAL OF CONTRACT

COMING DISCUSSIONS

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

AUCKLAND, This Day.

After four years' absence from the Dominion, Dr. R. M. Campbell, economic adviser to the New Zealand Government in London, arrived by the Monterey today. He has come to New Zealand in connection with the periodical revision of freight 1 rates for the Dominion's primary produce exports.

Negotiations for the renewal of the freight contract would be held in Wellington shortly, said Dr. Campbell, between the Government and the produce organisations on one hand and the shipping lines on the other. The contract covered all refrigerated produce. Whether the rates would be changed depended on the results of the coming disdussions.
