This will be the last opportunity upon whiqh the public will be allowed to enter the grounds, and opr portunities will be provided of seeing the various works in progress, and the advance made since the grounds were enclosed.
The British Government's representative who- will be concerned with the British Court and the building of the pavilion will arrive at Auckland next Thursday by the Mataroa.
There has been a change in the vessel by which his Majesty's Welsh Guards' Band will come out from England. The original intention was that they should sail by the Tamaroa, but this is not now considered a suitable arrangement, and it was today decided to request the High Commissioner for New Zealand in London to book the necessary accommodation by the Rangitiki.
