NEW PALESTINE TREATY
ARAB REQUEST
CESSATION OF JEWISH IMMIGRATION
(Received February 10, 2.50 p.m.) LONDON, February 9. The "News Chronicle" states that* Prince Hussein, one of the Arab delegates at the Palestine Conference, asked Britain to abandon her attempt, to establish a Jewish national home, to abrogate the mandate, and to substitute a treaty between Britain and Palestine similar to that between Britain and Irak. He demanded the cessation of Jewish immigration and sales of land to Jews, and declared that Palestine already had a larger population than could be supported.
