PETONE CLUB
A large attendance and a fine evening made the weekly club night of the Petone Amateur Swimming Club last evening very enjoyable. Finishes in most races were very close. The results were as follows: — Junior Girls' 33 l-3yds.—S. Watson, 1; B. Torrence, 2; A. Ashman, 3. Time, 36 3-ssec. Junior Boys' 33 l-3yds.—R. Egglestorfc 1; R. Reel, 2. Time, 29 l-ssec. Intermediate Girls' 100 yds.—V. Kerse, 1. Time, 85sec. Intermediate Boys' 100 yds.—C. Harding. 1; R. Remmer, 2. Time, 68sec. Senior Ladies' 100 yds.—A. Parr, 1; Z. Strickland, 2. Time, 84sec. Senior Men's 100yds.—R. Steele, 1; V. Bennett, 2; I. May, 3. Time, 76£ sec. Breaststroke 66 2-3 yds.—l. Forsyth, ]; C. Harding, 2. Time, 59sec. Ladies' Dive.—Z. Strickland, 1; M. Boswell, 2. Men's Dive.—l. Duffy, 1. Junior Dive.—W. Hyle, 1. Water Polo. —B grade: Worser Bay 2, Petone 1. C grade: Petone 4, Worser Bay 0. Mr. W. Loot refereed both games. _____________„____
