EXHIBITION SITE
CLOSED TO PUBLIC
Interest in the progress of the Exhibition by the weekend public has proved embarrassing, and on occasions sections of the fencing have actually been taken away to gain entrance, said the general manager, Mr. C. P. Hamsworth, today. The Exhibition site has been closed to the public for some time. The reason for excluding the public is largely on account of the fire risk. It should be noted that only those on business will be admitted during the week. Within a few weeks, however, when the band sheljs are completed, they' will be tested for acoustics by a band programme, and on this ocascion the public will be admitted and may inspect the grounds.
