BOMBS THROWN AT CAR

STRIKE DISTURBANCES

RANGOON, January 20,
Bombs were thrown, at the motorcar of the Premier (Dr. Baw Maw) in which the Premier's children were riding. Nobody was injured.
Three Buddhist monks were later charged with attempted murder. The Burma Electric Supply Company declines to replace broken street lamps or restart the normal transport service "until the authorities resume responsibility for maintaining.order."
