"ODD" BEHAVIOUR

EARL WINTERTON'S TILT

(Received January 21, 11.30 a.m.)

LONDON, January 20. The Minister of Air, Earl Wintertdh, in a speech, said: "Those unamiable septuagenarians, Mr. Lloyd George and Mr. H. G. Wells, have recently been screaming defiance against dictators and Mr. Chamberlain. What an odd way for these old gentlemen to spend their last years. They are scolding a world which has long ceased to take either of them seriously."
