(Received January 21, noon.) > BERLIN, January 20. Herr Hitler'sent a letter to Dr. Funk ordering the completion of the conversion of the Reichsbank into a central bank unconditionally subject

to the State's sovereignty.

Dr. Funk was also ordered to guarantee unconditional stability of wages and prices and security of the mark in the future.

Herr Hitler wrote to Dr. Schacht warmly thanking him for his ser-

vices.
