With only a slight breeze to contend with better conditions prevailed for the third day of the junior tennis championships. Boys! single was reduced to the final. The quarter-finals and one semi-final were played in the girls' championships, the semifinalist winner being the Canterbury girl, D. Elsom. Both doubles championships reached the final stage, and m the combined doubles one quarterfinal has been played. Results:— Boys' Singles. Quarter-finals.—B. Kelly (Wellington)- beat F.
