PLEASE...!
Here Is a letter from Dorothy Elsele, of San Francisco, who asks for a New Zealand penfriend. She writes:—"The population of our city is about 670,000. Although I liker Chicago,/ where I used to live, I like San Francisco better. It Is very hilly and although I don't like to climb the hills they are most beautiful to look at.
"Maybe you've heard of Chinatown. It is the largest Chinese settlement outside of China, of course there are the usual monuments and places of interest. There Is, also,' the Golden Gate Park which i« the largest park In the United States, and last, but definitely not least, is the bay and the things that go with it; ferries and the two bridges. We have ferries which in half an hour take' one to Oakland, Berkely, Almeda, and numerous other places. You probably read all about the bridges and the Golden Gate International Exposition. I am sure that if you ever come here you will agree that San Francisco is an exceedingly interesting city."
