RIMUTAKA'S CARGO

A POSSIBLE REBATE

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

AUCKLAND, January 20.

In view of the damage to the Rimutaka's cargo having been confined to one hold, it is likely that the 10 per cent, general average declared on the ship and cargo will yield considerably more than is required to meet all claims. It is probable that when all formalities have been complied with a recovery or rebate of about 5 per cent, will be made.

The Rimutaka is scheduled to sail for Wellington tomorrow morning after discharging the Auckland portion of her cargo.
