TEMPORARY HOME

SIR H. BATTERBEE

A residence for Sir Harry Batterbee, who is due to arrive in Wellington in March to take up his appointment as High Commissioner for the United Kingdom, has been obtained by Messrs. G. G. Tolhurst, the agents who have been acting on behalf of the United Kingdom Government.

A lease has been secured of Mr. Theo Kelly's beautiful modern home "Ranelagh," Wesley Terrace, during his absence on a trip to England. The question of securing a permanent residence for Sir Harry Batterbee will be considered at a later date, and the agents are still investigating a number of large properties in and about Wellington.
