Ecstatic's effort over seven furlongs at Trentham on Thursday was most encouraging, especially as in the past she had found six plenty far enough for her. When she began to drift back to her field in the straight after establishing a ,big early break it looked as if she was gone, but she hung on. unexpectedly well to finish second.
