After evidence had been heard yesterday afternoon against Mary Wearne, married woman, a boarding-house-keeper, who appeared in the Magisr trate's Court before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., charged with unlawfully using an instrument, the accused pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. DetectiveSergeant P. Doyle prosecuted, and Mr. J. A. Scott appeared for Mrs. Wearne.
