The Hawke Cup elimination cricket match Wairarapa versus Wanganui was continued today in fine weather. At lunch Wairarapa in their second innings had 154 runs .on for the loss of five wickets. Clarke was not out with 58 to his credit. ', '■

In the Hawke Cup elimination match Nelson versus Manawatu the latter at lunch had 155 runs on the board for the loss of two wickets (MeVicar 56, Broughton 19, Murchison not out 65).
