BERLIN, January 12,
Herr Hitler, in acknowledging New Year greetings from the P<jpal Nuncio, who specially referred to the Munich Agreement, declared: "I also was strongly impressed by the Munich Agreement. Germany last year brought into effect her absolute rights without war, to which the wise judgment of the Powers at Munich contributed. I think that that event justifies the hope that in the future the common friendship among European statesmen may preserve a peace throughout Europe which will give the fullest justice to the legitimate interests of the nations."
