INVENTORY ORDERED

LONDON, January 10.

The Vienna correspondent of tha "Daily Mail" reports that'the District Leader- of Austria, Dr. Seyss Inquart, has ordered an inventory to be taken of works of art in Roman Catholic churches and monasteries throughout Austria before January 31.

An official announcement explains that the purpose is to obtain a complete record of the Church's art possessions and adds that this is part of a general survey of all Austria's his^ torical. and artistic objects to prevent sales abroad, which have been frequent lately.
