SACRIFICE OF DANZIG
POLISH ALTERNATIVE
IDEA TO PLEASE GERMANY
WARSAW, January 6.
The search for an alternative to Poland's joining the Anti-Comintern Pact in view of Colonel Bepk's dislike of blocs, brings the suggestion that Poland's contribution to the appeasement of Germany might be the inclusion of Danzig in the Reich, A cut-and-dried plan for this is reported to be already drawn up in Berlin, in addition to the construction of a military motor road through the Polish corridor.
Poland is unlikely to help Germany in her coquetting, in the Ukraine, since she has her own unsolved Ukrainian problem.
