LIGHTNING STRIKES THE VATICAN
VATICAN CITY, December 22,
During a violent thunderstorm, lightning struck the Vatican Palace today, smashing the windows of the loggia in the Raphael gallery. The Pope, who was working nearby in his private library, was not affected.
MISSING BOMBER FOUND
LONDON. December 22,
The R.A.F. Blenheim bomber which disappeared on December 11 has been found 60 miles from Habbaniya (Irak). All six occupants were dead.
