During the year 19,700 people had gladly made use of the cafeteria, and all spoke highly of the service that had been given. The secretary of the Wellington Centre thanked Mesdames Ellen and Beaufort, honorary secretaries of the cafeteria, and the ladies associated with them for the regular and reliable manner in which they had attended and discharged their responsibilities. He expressed the hope that in the additions to the hospital which were contemplated adequate provision would be made for the cafeteria which had proved itself over the years undoubtedly a most important adjunct to the institution.
