Mr. C. W. Tringham, accompanied, byMrs. Tringham, left Wellington by the Wanganella yesterday for a holiday visit to Sydney. They intend to return to Wellington on January 1&.
Professor W. P. Evans, a member of the Senate of the University of New Zealand, left Wellington for Sydney by the Wanganella yesterday.
Mr. J. D. Anderson, who has been' manager at Wanganui for the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, for the past 15 years, will retire on superannuation at the end of this month. He has been in the service of the company for nearly forty years.
