STAFF CHANGES

BANK OF NEW ZEALAND

Changes in the staff of the Bank of New Zealand to be made in the New Year, will include the retirement qf Mr. A. H. Wilson, manager at Gisborne. after a service of 44 years. He retires on March 31 next, and will be succeeded by Mr. H. E. Garth, at present assistant manager at Christchurch. Mr. S. F. Cowan, at present accountant at Dunedin, has been appointed assistant manager at the Christchurch branch, and he will be succeeded by Mr. H. F. Wilson, accountant at Invercargill. Mr. H. G. Hitchon, of the Christchurch staff,, has _• been appointed accountant at the Invercargill branch. Mr. E. H. Payze, manager of Waihi branch, is retiring in January, 1939, on account of ill health. Mr. Payze joined the bank's service 37 years ago. He is to be succeeded by Mr. H. lon, of the Auckland office.
