The main business of a meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Crippled Children Society held recently, Mr. Frank Campbell presiding, was thj disbursement of the sum of £1000 which has been made available by the Minister of Internal Affairs from the proceeds of art unions. The following allocation to branches was approved:— South Canterbury, £45 ss; Southland, £65 15s; Canterbury and Westland, £110 15s; Wanganui, £58 10s; Mana'watu, £47; New Plymouth, £34;.Dunedin, £106 10s; North Otago, £24 ss; Auckland, £226 ss; Wairarapa, £24 15s; Wellington, £103; South Taranaki, £6 ss; Marlborough, £15 ss; Stratford, £6 ss; Nelson, £10 10s; Hawke's Bay, £34 ss; Gisborne, £21 15s; total, £943.
