FRIENDSHIP WITH BRITAIN

In accordance with King Carol's policy of injecting young blood into the Ministry, M. Grigore Gafencu. the 46-year-old editor of the "Argus," has been appointed Foreign Minister.
A well-known admirer of Britain, he immediately issued a statement that he intended to preserve the friendship with Britain.
