VISIT TO NELSON
" A holiday tour of the Nelson district is an annual event for Wellington cricketers. Those to go on this season's tour are Morgan (Wellington), Gates and Armstrong (Midland), Briggs .(Karori), Rooke, McGrath, and Allen (Kilbirnie), Robson and Walton (Railways) , and C. Murphy, W. Murphy, and Herd (Amalgamated Bricks), with W. Osborn (Midland) as manager.
The programme of matches is:—December 26, v. Waimea representatives; December 27, v. Upper and Lower Moutere; December 28, v. Motueka; December 29, v. Riwaka and Brooklyn; December 30 and 31, v. Motueka representatives; January 2 and 3, v. Nelson.
Mr. P. C. Savage was today re-elected chairman of the Auckland Stock Exchange, states a Press Association telegram, and Mr. W. B. Colbeck vicechairman.
