A special line of cows and heifers in milk, on account of Mr. W. Bagg, met with a ready sale They were all in good condition and brought an average price of £9. Heifers sold at up to £10 15s: second calvers, £8 to £8 12s 6d: third calvers, £8 15s to £10; mature cows, £6 5s to £10 10s.
