The extensive depression over the western Tasman Sea has made little progress eastwards, and barometers over the Dominion have remained relatively high and very steady. They are now commencing to fall, however, in the far south. Light to moderate north-east to north-west winds have prevailed, and the weather has been cloudy and warm generally. Fairly general rain occurred last night over, the South Auckland Province, while there have been light irregular falls as far south as' Greymouth. TODAY'S WEATHER.
