Mr. and Mrs. Erreld Martin, Bolton Street, who are among those going abroad by the Mariposa from Auckland on December 12, will be away , for six months, which they will spend travelling in the United States of 'America.
Dr. Elizabeth Gunn, Director of School Hygiene, is spending the weekend in Wanganui with Dr. and Mrs. A. H. E. Wall.
Miss Eileen Didsbury, The Terrace, who has been spending the past few weeks with Mrs. C. J. Hardy, Parnell, Auckland, returned home this week.
Mr. and Mrs. C. Bryant, Christchurch, arrived at Auckland yesterday by the Mariposa at the- conclusion of a world tour, and are leaving for the south by the steamer express tonight.
Miss Paddy McEvedy is paying a visit to Christchurch, where she is staying with her sister, Mrs. M. McTigue.
Mrs. A. P. Gibson, Hataitai, is at present on holiday on the West Coast, South Island.
Mrs. Richard Hudson, who arrived in Auckland by-the Monterey a few weeks ago after a trip abroad, will return to Dunedin today from Christchurch, accompanied by Mrs. Dora Smeaton, who has been visiting in. the North Island.
Mr. and Mrs. Duncan McKay, Tinakori Road, have returned home after. a motor tour of the North. Island.
Mr. and Mrs. A. Linley Richardson, Wellington, are visiting Waipukurau1, as the guests of Mrs. Linley Richardson's sister, Mrs. F. G. Oldham.
Mrs. Duncan F. Bauchop, Wellington, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. H. J. Raphael, Christchurch.
Miss Vida Barron, w;arden of St. Margaret's College, Dunedin, will leave soon for a trip abroad. Miss Vida Sheddan has been appointed acting warden for next year.
Mrs. Walter Hill, Miss Betty and Master Hill, Lower Hutt, have returned home from a world tour.
Miss Elizabeth Loe, Wellington, who has been visiting Hastings, returned home yesterday.
.Miss M. Low, Miss R. Wicks, and Miss A. Gibbs, Wellington, will leave by the Limited express on Monday night, for Auckland, where they will connect with the Niagara en route for England. They.expect to be away for a year. - .
Mrs. Percy Jackson, Rongotai Terrace, returned from Christchurch yesterday.
Miss Daisy Sharp, Timaru, who returned last week from a visit to England, is the guest of her brother, Mr. H. Sharp, Wellington.
Miss Josephine Purse, who has been visiting Christchurch, has returned to Wellington.
Mrs. R. C. Hughes has returned to New Plymouth from a holiday in Wellington.

Mrs. P. Dolbel, Hawke's Bay, is the guest of Mrs. D. J. Cumming, Glen Road, Kelburn.
