RUGBY, October 26. Ti'iree new vessels for the Navy were launched yesterday.
At Hepburn shipyard the flotillaleadfiT Kelly, which belongs to the X class and is one of eight vessels ordered in the 1937 programme, was launched. H.MIS. Jackal, the first of the J class destroyers of the 1937 prograrrime, was launc&ed at Clydebank from the yard of Messrs. John Brown and Company. Anothver of the same class is under construction in the same yards. The third launching took place at Barrow, the vessel {being the submarine Thistle, of the T cVass.
Tomorrow H.M.S. Jupiter, which is a J claas destroyer, will be launched at Scotsfloun.
