HUTT VALLEY CAGE BIRD CLUB
The monthly meeting of the Hutt Valley Cage Bird Club was held recently, Mr. S. G. Pearse presiding. The Wellington and Suburbs Canary and Cage Bird Club wrote extending its best wishes for future sticcess and offering asistance and co-operation. It was decided to hold meetings in the Hutt River Board's rooms on the third Wednesday of each month and that a first feather show should be held on December 2.
Arrangements were made for a lawn parade to be- held on January 28, andJ Mr. C. Sowman was elected as budgerigar and finch judge, and Mr. C. Denny canary judge,
As the result of a recent proposal a round of visits of members to each other's aviaries is to commence next week with a ramble round the aviaries on the eastern side of the valley.
Several new members were elected and several nominations received.
