RIDER INJURED
J. L. Barlow, of Elizabeth Street, Petone, a rider in the Palmerston North to Petone road cycle race, went down the bank between Pahautanui and Hay wards. He was brought into the city from Haywards, where he was picked up by the Free Ambulance. He is suffering from abrasions to the left thigh and face and injuries to the left shoulder, but was able to proceed home.
