The weather for the Manawatu golf tourney has . not been satisfactory so far, there being a great deal of rain. . The semi-finalists in the championship are K. S. Glendinning (Manawatu), R. F. Kitto (Wangariui), C. N. Armstrong (Wanganui), and B. M. Silk (Wanganui): Players from Wellington and neighbouring clubs have not been very successful. .-
