Conducted by Stanley Oliver, the j Royal Wellington Choral Union present the concert version of "The Fly- j ing Dutchman" on Thursday, October, 27. ■.--., .■■.'. For this concert the leading solo-J ists are Harison Cook (bass), Alma Clegg (soprano), A. J. Francis (tenor), j and Russell Laurenson (baritone). Grace Wilkinson, the New Zealand contralto whose recent broadcasts from the National stations have aroused acclamation, also appears in the cast in the part of Mary. This outstanding entertainment will commence at 8 p.m. at the Wellington Town Hall, and for the benefit of music lovers unable to be present, Dominion Station 2YA will relay the complete performance.
