Mr. N. J. Glover, secretary of the Dominion Settlement Association, has received the following telegram from the Prime Minister in answer to the association's open letter (published last night) regarding migration:—
"Have received your letter 10th instant enclosing open letter and shall be pleased to place representations before Government at earliest opportunity."
