MR. LEE AND SOCIALISM
(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
DUNEDIN, September 27.
In the course of his tour in Otago, Mr. J. A. Lee addressed a packed and enthusiastic meeting in the South Dunedin Town Hall tonight. He reviewed the achievements of the Labour Government to date, and quoted figures showing the rise in production of commodities since 1935. He dealt with the Government's housing operations, and, touching on Socialism, said the only type of Socialism he advocated was complete control of money power in the interests of the people.
He was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence.
