CANDIDATES' MEETINGS.

Mr. R. A. Wright, candidate for Wellington West Electorate, will address electors as follows: —Kelburn, Tea Kiosk, on Monday, September 26; Wadestown, Public Schoolroom, Tuesday, September 27; Makara, Public Hall, Wednesday, September 28; and Mornington, Public Hall, on Thursday, September 29. All meetings will be held at 8 pjn.

Mr. O. C. Mazengarb, National candidate for Wellington Suburbs, will address the electors of Stokes Valley tonight and Eastbourne electors on Monday night. In connection with the Eastbourne meeting arrangements have bee made with the Borough Council for special buses to leave Day's Bay arid Muritai South at 7.40 p.m. on Monday, returning after the meeting. Mr. Mazengarb's future meetings will be at the Knox Hall, near V.I.C. corner, Lower Hutt, on Tuesday, Wainui-o-mata on Wednesday, and Johnsonville on Thursday.

Mr. G. A. Monk, National candidate for Otaki, will hold a public meeting at Porirua on Monday evening and at Paekakariki on Tuesday evening.

Mr. R. McKeen, Labour candidate for Wellington South, will open his campaign in the Masonic Hall at 8 p.m. on Monday. On Tuesday evening he will speak in the schoolroom, Ohiro Bay.

The Hon. P. Fraser, Labour candidate for Wellington Central, will continue his campaign in the Presbyterian Schoolroom, Roseneath, on Tuesday evening.

Mr. Will Appleton, National candidate for Wellington Central, will address electors at Roseneath Public School on Tuesday, at 8 p.m., his subject being "Taxation, and Development of Local Industries." Mr. Appleton will also speak at the Methodist Church, Webb Street, on Thursday, at 8 p.m., his subject being "Labour's Inconsistencies, and the Cost of Living."

Mr. D. A. Howlett, National candidate, will address Wellington South electors at St. Thomas's Hall, Riddiford Street, Newtown, next Monday at 8 p.m.
