SHANDON LADIES' MIDWEEK CLUB
Following is the draw for the qualifying round for the Vance Cup match, which must be played by Friday, September 30, by the Shandon Ladies' Midweek Club. Players are to arrange their own foursomes: — Mrs. Wells and Mrs. Dickson; Mrs. Edwards and Mrs. Wallace; Miss P. Hodgins and Miss Bradley; Miss Dorset and Mrs. Perrett; Mrs. Adams and Mrs. Lecky; Mrs. Cameron and Miss Rockstrow; Mrs. Bishop and Mrs. Macaskill; Mrs. Robertson and Mrs. McConkey; Mrs. Cathie and Mrs. Manning; Mrs. Sotham and Mrs. Webster; Mrs. Wood and Mrs. Morgan; Mrs. Benseman and Mrs. Harrap; Mrs. Hamilton and Mrs. Campbell; Mrs. Pope and Miss King; Miss Press and Mrs. Miller; Mrs. Hore and Mrs. Bing; Mrs. Hardcastle and Mrs, Briggs; Mrs. Mouat and Mrs. Jordan; Mrs. Sadd and Mrs. Petersen; Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Proctor: Mrs. Cockroft and Mrs. Hurdling; Mrs. Purdie and Mrs. Burmester.; Mrs. Zachariah and Mrs. Sinclair; Mrs. Kyle and Mrs. Evans. There will be a medal round on Wednesday for players who are not engaged in the Vance Cup qualifying round. Play will commence at 10.30 a.m. Following is the draw for C players, to start from No. .1- tee, at 11 o'clock:—
Mrs. Collins and Mrs. Featherstone; Mrs. Andrews and Mrs. Hall; Mrs. Davis and Miss Gibbons; Mrs. Jackson and Mrs. Christie; Mrs. Sommerville and Miss Widdop; Mrs. Simpson and Mrs. Fisher; Mrs. McDonald and Mrs. Kitto; Mrs. Sutton and Mrs. Witcher. The best cards returned in the third round of the Edilson Cup and L.G.U. played last Wednesday were Mrs. Edwards, 96, 16—80; Miss P. Hodgins, 100, 19—81.
