COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS' TOURNEY
The Wellington Commercial Travellers' Club held, the annual golf tournament to decide the E. W. Mills and Desert Gold Cups on. the Miramar links on Wednesday, 35 members competing. . _ • The Mills Cup was won by J. B. Hatrick, with 81, 12—69; and, p.- B. Stratmbre won the Desert Gold Cup with a card of 3 up. E. E. Brooking, chairman of the golf committee, presented the cups to the successful competitors. A tribute of respect was paid to the late Dr. L. P. Haywood, a member of the Commercial Travellers' Club, and of the Miramar Golf Club, who passed away that day.
