FIFTY YEARS MARRIED

WEDDING CELEBRATION

Friends of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Ferguson entertained them at a most enjoyable social evening held at Eastbourne on Saturday evening, September 3, on the occasion of their "golden wedding."

Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson were escorted from the car upon their arrival by Piper R. Pescini, of the Lower Hutt Pipe Band.

During the evening many enjoyable items were rendered by Mr. and Mrs. and Miss Halvosen, Mr. Ted Vaughan, Mr. Hart, Mr. Hartshorne, and Mr. Kober. Mr. Norman Epttcrsby presided at the piano. •

The toasts of the evening were in the able hands of Mr. J. Kober. After an enjoyable supper was partaken of and amidst the best wishes of the many guests, Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson were again escorted by Piper Pescini to the car, \ en route to their home.

YOU DID NOT CHOOSE YOUR FIGURE. Having no choice in the matter, figures are not likely to run to lines of loveliness, unless you do something about it. You need this beautifullyillustrated 32-page booklet, giving scientific information on diet, hints on how to dress to highlight your good points, and sink your shortcomings into the background, also 148 exercises designed to improve your figure and posture. Send 3d in stamps to "Beauty Exercises," Box 1508, Auckland.— JP.B.A.
