Cullus, who is engaged in the Flying Handicap at Wanganui tomorrow, has been off the scene for two and a half years. He was a useful sprinter for the late Mr. C. E. Twist, but bleeding checked his activities. He is now owned by Mr. C. Hart.

More than 20 mares are at the Stonyhurst Stud and most of them are in foal this season. They will be mated with the Stonyhurst stallions, Winning Hit, Cricket Bat, and Jericho.'
