HELL IS REAL. IF heaven is a verity then it is only logical to accept the reality of hell. Every human soul has an eternal destiny. If heaven is the eternal abode, of all who own the Lordship of the Saviour, where else can the unbelieving and the rebellious appear but in the^ habitations of darkness and despair? No lawless insurgents can ever find happiness in heaven. Lynam Abbott says: "On my lawn is a goat tethered by a rope to a stake. He is not at liberty. Why not cut the rope and let him go where, and do as, he pleases? Because if Ido he will gnaw the bark of the young trees, trample down the garden beds, pull up the strawberry plants by the roots. In a word, because he is not able to perceive and be obedient to the invisible Jaw, he must be subjected to a visible and tangible one. But I have a collie dog who has learned obedience and has accepted his right to liberty." Unbelieving sinners have no right to the liberties and joys of heaven. As surely as an earthly government cannot dispense with its prisons, so hell becomes the logical necessity of Divine justice. It is God's prison house, reserved for rebels. Beware of a sloppy, sentimental idea" of the love of God which is very common today. Remember that His compassions, infinite as they are, can never contravene His justice. While "the heart of the Eternal is most wonderfully kind," never forget that Divine righteousness demands the punishment of unforgiven sin. A vision of His unsullied majesty and "awful purity," will suffice to convince anybody of hell's reality and necessity, as well as'heaven's glory. Every man is the chairman of his own eternal destiny. Extract from the "Christian Herald." Sample copies of the "Christian Herald" will be gladly sent on- application. Sick persons or "shut ins" will be supplied free. It is *Qike the Gospel, free to "Whosoever will." Write P.O. Box 1598, 'Cl, or F> J. Orpins, 44 Rakau Road, 152,
