■" A team from the Levin Ladies' Club visited Shannon on Wednesday and .were defeated by five games to two with one game halved. Results were as follows- (Levin players mentioned first): — Miss Herrick lost to Miss Picard; Mrs. Hunter lost to. Miss Stern; Miss Park U*t to Mrs. H. Stern; Mrs. Astley won from Mrs. Graham; Miss Bevan halved with Miss Pope; Mrs. Park lost to Miss M. Easton; Mrs. Herrick lost to Mrs. R. Barber;. Mrs. Clifford won from Mrs. S. Barber.
