In the pennant match played against the Hutt Ladies'' Golf Club on Thursday the Shandon B.team was beaten by five games to one, one game being squared. In the C grade Shandon won six games and Hutt one game. B Team results (Shandon players being;mentioned first) are:— * Mrs. Edwards lost to Mrs. Park, 6 and 4; Mrs. Adams lost to Mrs. Duncan, 7 and 5; Miss P. Hodgiris lost to Mrs. Wiren," 3 and 1; Mrs. Carneron beat Miss Dawson, 2 and 1; Miss Dorset lost to Mrs. E. Hogg, 1 up; Mrs. Lees lost to" Mrs. Monteith, 4 and 3; Miss Press'and Mrs. Hughes, all square.
C Team.—Mrs. Cockroft beat Mrs. Admore, 3 and 1; Mrs. Zachariah beat Mrs. Cau, 6 and 5; Mrs. Benseman beat Miss Stewart, 3 and 2; Mrs. Witcombe beat Miss Jones, 3 and 2; Mrs. Sadd: beat Mrs. Fraser, 5 and 4; Mrs. Macaskill lost to Mrs. Pacey, 5 and 4; Mrs. Sinclair beat Mrs. Welsted, 5 and 3. ■■ ■ •.■■■■■- ■ . ■ ' In the fourth bogey match played last -Wednesday Mrs. Zachariah finished 3 down and Mrs. Proctor 5 down. On Wednesday a fourball best-ball medal competition will be played and members are asked to arrange their own partners. Opponents will be arranged at the clubhouse and play will" commence at 10.30 a.m.
