SHIP HITS WHARF

DAMAGE TO TAMAHINE

Slight damage was done to the Tamahine when she was berthing at Queen's Wharf No. 4 on her return from Picton last night. As the ship was easing into the wharf she struck the side of it, and some plates on the port side were bent. Workmen were engaged today in repairing^ and straightening the plates to enable the ship to leave at her schedule time of 2.45 p.m. for Picton.
