HIS WIFE WOUNDED

It is disclosed that while the Italians Ambassador in Nationalist Spain was motoring to San Sebastian on the night of August 22, police called on his car to halt. The chauffeur disobeyed, and the police, not realising that it was a diplomatic car, fired, wounding the Ambassador's wife. The Ambassador was unhurt. *
