THE POPE ATTACKED
ANTI-SEMITIC LEADER
(Received August 26, 9.30 a.m.)
LONDON, August 25,
The Berlin correspondent .of the "Daily Telegraph" says that the newspaper "Der Stunner" devotes its entire front page to an article by Herr Julius Streicher, leader of the antiSemitic campaign attacking the Pope.
He declares that the Pope disowns the laws of God, that it is sheer nonsense to say that all races are equal in the sight of God, and that the Pope is acting against sense in gainsaying God's truth.
