REMAND GRANTED

A remand until August 31 was granted by Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today in the case of William Francis Watts, a painter, aged 32, who was charged with being intoxicated in charge of a motor-lorry on August 20 in Adelaide Road, and with failing to stop after an accident in which Edna May Smith was injured. Bail was fixed in the sum of £25, with a surety of that amount or two of £12 10s each.
