TERMINAL QUESTION

REPORT ON WELLINGTON

The Committee authorised by the Government to inquire into the suitability of Wellington as a 'terminal for the trans-Tasman air-mail service has presented its report to the Government, -the Postmaster-General (the Hon. F. Jones) stated in an interview today. The Minister indicated that Cabinet had not yet had time to consider the report. The Committee was the same body which investigated the possibilities of Rongotai as an airport.
