PRIME LAMB DEARER
LONDON MEAT MARKET
On the London frozen lamb market prime sorts have advanced owing to the relative scarcity of good-quality lambs, with second quality steadier, according to the weekly cable received by the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board. For wethers' and ewes the demand, continues to be poor, and values, where changed, are weaker. Chilled beef is firmer this week owing to cooler weather and better demand. For New Zealand porker pigs the market is tjuiet and unchanged. For New Zealand baconers prices have declined owing to heavy supplies and the weak bacon market. The boneless bobby yeal quotations are nominal, as there is little available. The board advises, that the following are the ruling prices of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of frozen meat mentioned and are for representative parcels of the goods sold on Thursday.
