MOTORIST FINED £15

GI3BORNE, This Day.

Charged with intoxication in charge of a motor-car * outside the racecourse yesterday, James Rowley Sherriff, aged 29, shepherd, was fined £15 and costs £1 Is by Mr. E. Walton, S.M., this morning. The police stated that the defendant, instead of going round the Transport Department inspector as directed, drove straight at him. When an investigation was made, Sherriff was arrested, as he was found unfit to drive.
